1 Day Plan & Map ("the App") is operated by Lo-Fi Technologies LLC (Tokyo, Japan; company information). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
The App stores all your project data (locations, schedules, settings) locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
When you use the App, the following third-party services may process data:
Google Maps Platform: The App uses Google Maps JavaScript API, Places API, and Directions API to display maps, search locations, and calculate routes. Your searches and map interactions are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
GPS Location: If you enable GPS, your device's location is used to show your position on the map and calculate distances. When the App calculates a route from your current location, that location is sent to Google Maps Platform for the route calculation. Location data is not stored on or transmitted to our servers. You can disable GPS at any time within the App.
Booking.com: The App contains affiliate links to Booking.com. If you click these links, you will be directed to Booking.com's website, which is subject to Booking.com's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how the App is used (for example, pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate region, and referrer). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. This data is used only to improve the App and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser. See how Google uses data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or account data, and the App does not require sign-up. We do not sell your data. Apart from the third-party services described above (Google Maps Platform, Google Analytics, and Booking.com), we do not share data with third parties.
Your project data is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser data or using the browser's developer tools. Uninstalling the App or clearing browser data will permanently delete all stored data.
When you use the Share feature, your project data (location names, coordinates, and settings) is encoded into a URL. Anyone with this URL can import the project. Please be mindful of what you share, as shared URLs are not encrypted.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any account creation or personal information to use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
